Good Shepherd Training Centers
are the vocational training ministry work
of Dayspring International in India.
Adults of all ages start our programs with little hope and graduate these programs with real job skills that they know will help them earn meaningful work to support themselves and their families.
Imagine growing up in a remote village with no education and understanding of career placement. But yet you have a family, you need to eat, so what do you do?
Meet Raju he rides his bicycle to a Good Shepherd Training Center at least three times a week to get trained in screen printing. He is learning with others and get hands on attention from the teacher. In just a short time, with dedicated help, Raju can now print stationary and signs which is dependable work in an area of India that doesn’t use printing presses. Now Raju has a trade. A real vocation from which to build by learning more, helping more customers and achieving his goal to provide for his family.
Good Shepherd Vocational Training Centers are growing because the demand is growing. In parts of India that are stricken with so much poverty its beyond understanding, there is really is only one way out and up...it’s through teaching people how to earn a leaving, not just giving them food. For then you provide a way for them to take care of themselves in dignity and reliability.
This is goal of Dayspring International’s Good Shepherd community work: to education, aid, help, inspire, uplift and minister to the whole person; truly making disciples through loving all of them in mind, body and spirit.
